Personal life

Dolan was born in Manchester, England, and is of Saint Lucian descent. He has spoken openly about the importance of his family and community in supporting his football career.

In October 2020, Dolan was deeply affected by the death of his close friend and former Manchester City academy teammate Jeremy Wisten, who tragically took his own life. Since then, Dolan has become a strong advocate for mental health awareness and athlete welfare. He is an ambassador for Go Again, a charity that helps professional athletes deal with setbacks, release, and transitions in their sporting careers.

Away from football, Dolan has expressed an interest in motivational speaking and supporting young players, using his platform to encourage openness around mental health struggles within the sporting community.

Club career

Early career
Dolan began his footballing journey at the Manchester City academy, where he joined at the age of seven. After three years with Burnley’s youth system, he returned to City before moving to Preston North End in 2017. He progressed through the youth ranks at Preston but did not make a senior league appearance for the club.

During the 2019–20 season, Dolan spent time on loan at Clitheroe, making 4 appearances and scoring 2 goals in the Northern Premier League Division One North West.

Blackburn Rovers
In July 2020, Dolan signed his first professional contract with Blackburn Rovers following his release from Preston. He made an immediate impact at Ewood Park, debuting on 12 September 2020 in a Championship match against Bournemouth. Over the next five seasons, Dolan established himself as a key figure in Blackburn’s attack, making more than 190 league appearances and scoring 23 goals across all competitions.

Espanyol
On 25 July 2025, Dolan signed a three-year contract with RCD Espanyol after rejecting a new deal at Blackburn. The move marked his first venture outside English football. He joined the Catalan side ahead of their return season in La Liga, strengthening their wide attacking options. Dolan made his competitive debut for Espanyol in August 2025.

International career

Dolan received his first international call-up in March 2022, when he was selected for the England under-20 squad. He made his debut in a 2–0 defeat against Poland U20 on 25 March 2022. Four days later, on 29 March, he scored his first international goal in a 3–1 win over Germany U20.

Although eligible to represent Saint Lucia through family heritage, Dolan has so far only represented England at youth level.

Reported Net Worth & Salary Figures

The £1.4 million net worth figure from SalarySport relies on a salary estimate that significantly exceeds other sources, making it suspect.

Based on more modest salary estimates (~£30k/year), the net worth would likely be much lower.

Meanwhile, his estimated market value ranges from €4.9 million to €7.0 million, but this reflects potential transfer valuation—not personal net worth.

In short: there’s no reliable or confirmed figure for his actual net worth in 2025 beyond speculative estimates.
